Dadaism

Dadaism

Dadaism was an art movement that emerged during World War I as a reaction to the senseless violence and destruction of the time. It rejected traditional aesthetic norms and embraced chaos and absurdity. Dadaists were known for creating unconventional and often provocative artworks through the use of chance, randomness, and the combination of seemingly unrelated objects. They sought to challenge the notion of what art could be and to provoke a reaction from the viewer.
